Anytone AT500M

 

The Anytone AT500 covers 12 through 10 meters AM or FM only after modification.  It  offered repeater offset and CTCSS/DCS tones.  The downside was FM deviation was only 2 khz.  To work on 10/12 meters, 2 internal jumpers have to be configured.  The radio as shipped is locked to the US 40 channel CB band. Anytone AT500M II

The AT500M II is an upgraded version of the AT500M.  It offers WX band reception.  FM deviation is selectable 2 or 4 khz.   The 4 khz deviation makes the radio usable for 29 mhz FM repeaters and simplex.

To work on 10/12 meters, 2 internal jumpers have to be configured.  The radio as shipped is locked to the US 40 channel CB band. When modified, power output is 4/8 watts AM, 4/8/15 watts FM.   Modulation on AM is reduced at the 8 watt setting.

Radioddity CB500

This appears to be identical to the Anytone AT500M II radio with different labeling.  Modification is the same as the AT500M II.
