I no longer offer refurb kits. Capacitor substitutions may be done in regard to voltage ratings as long as they are rated higher than the rated voltage of the part being replaced.
The 450 volt 82 or 100 uf capacitor should be of good quality as the voltage on it approaches the maximum voltage rating and some of the inexpensive Chinese capacitors will fail prematurely that I have experimented with. I’ve seen anywhere from 430 to 445 volts on the B+ after removing the tube rectifier and replacing with 1n4007’s. I’ve had no failures of the Kemet labeled capacitors so far, even after many days of burn in when I was checking frequency stability of the crystals. The less expensive capacitors would fail usually with less than 24 hours of burn in in the HV circuit. The other “cheap” electrolytic capacitors that I have used have not failed.
If you find your B+ is very close to or exceeds 450v and want to reduce it, you might try loading it with a 180 or 220K ohm 2 watt resistor to ground. Those are suggested values and it might require a higher or lower value resistor.
